Tamoge, September 22, 2025 – The Women’s Fellowship (PW) of GKI Elim Tamoge held a thanksgiving service to celebrate the 2nd Anniversary of the Women’s Fellowship (PW) of Klasis GKI Windesi. The service took place on Monday (22/09) with great joy, attended by mothers of PW, children, and representatives from other church fellowships, namely PKB and PAM.

The atmosphere of worship was solemn and full of gratitude from beginning to end. Songs and prayers were offered sincerely, expressing the congregation’s thanksgiving for God’s sustaining work in this fellowship. The celebration became even more joyful when the women of PW sang the PW Anthem (MARS PW) with enthusiasm, symbolizing their dedication and commitment to ministry.

The service was led by Syms. Edison Werianggi, who delivered a reflection from 1 Kings 17:1–24. The sermon emphasized that, just like the widow of Zarephath who faithfully gave with faith in the midst of scarcity, the women and all members of the congregation are also called to believe that God will always sustain, give life, and bless His people. This message became very relevant for the PW anniversary celebration, reminding the women to remain faithful in serving even in times of challenge, trusting God as the source of life and hope.

At the end of the service, Pnt. Oscar Werianggi, representing the Church Council, delivered words of gratitude to all participants and extended warm congratulations on the 2nd Anniversary of PW Klasis GKI Windesi. In his remarks, he highlighted the importance of unity in ministry and invited all elements of the congregation to continue supporting the women’s fellowship as a vital partner in building the church.

The thanksgiving celebration concluded with a fellowship meal, where all participants shared joy and togetherness in a spirit of love.

Through this meaningful moment, the Women’s Fellowship of GKI Elim Tamoge not only marked the milestone of PW Klasis’ anniversary but also renewed their commitment to continue serving faithfully and being a blessing for the congregation, the wider klasis, and the surrounding community.
