Grateful for God's work for the GKI SARA Mothers in Papua, the SARA Mothers' Fellowship of Region XII held a Thanksgiving Prayer Day celebration on Nusorowi Island, GKI Rumberpon Class on (Friday, June 13, 2025). Present at the celebration were all SARA mothers from 6 Classes in Region XII GKI TP, namely: Wondama Class, Windesi Class, Rumberpon Class, Ransiki Class, Bintuni Class, and Hatam Oransbari Class.

The thanksgiving service was led wisely by Rev. Roalie Wamafma and filled with chants of praise from several choirs and vocal groups. Based on the Bible verses of I Corinthians: 1-11, Rev. Wamafma reflected on the meaning of unity of heart in applying various gifts for the common good, and building fellowship.

In his sermon, Rev. Wamafma also said that the SARA Mothers' Fellowship is now faced with various challenges in carrying out its ministry duties, however, the SARA mothers are invited to be steadfast in faith, and hope and to maximize all potential and gifts for the glory of God.

After the thanksgiving service, the activity continued with the giving of souvenirs from BPK Rumberpon to the SARA Mothers' Chairmen throughout Region XII who attended the celebration.

The warmth of the joy of the celebration was complemented by a joint love feast and continued with a joint competition, namely a boat rowing competition and tug of war with representatives from each classis.

The peak of the celebration ended with the giving of prizes to the winners of the competition, as well as a prayer and a group photo.
